Are you ready for a new challenge? Do you have an interest in children and young people's emotional wellbeing? Do you have experience of working in children's services?
This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated person to join MyTime South Cumbria as a Primary Mental Health Worker to support and strengthen the provision of emotional and mental health support for children and young people building capacity and capability within community services in relation to prevention, early identification, and intervention.
This role is based in South Cumbria covering Millom, Furness, and South Lakeland. Working days are Monday to Friday with some flexible working hours and travel across the locality as required.
We are looking for someone who is passionate about:
- Children's and young people's emotional health and wellbeing
- Improving outcomes for children and young people
The successful candidate must have:
- RMN/ CQSW/ DipSW/ BSc.OT or other relevant professional qualification
- Significant Post registration experience of working in a Child and Adolescent Mental health Service or equivalent
- A comprehensive understanding of children's safeguarding
- Experience in developing and / or delivering training
- Ability to use own initiative and work without close supervision within agreed protocols

You must demonstrate in your application that you currently use the skills outlined above, and in the Job Descriptions, or have used them previously in employment, education, training, volunteering etc. This should be done with an understanding of the context of the service described.
