Our client, the national charity for children in care and young care leavers are looking for someone to help them with their approach to monitoring and evaluation, strengthening their research and evidence base, and ensuring that their policy influencing and service development is underpinned by robust evidence.

Evidence and Impact Officer
Salary: £31,785 per annum
Hours: This role is full-time (35 hours per week).  They offer flexible working options such as compressed hours and job-shares.
Location: Team members mostly work remotely but have access to office space in London, and are expected to attend team meetings in London (usually once or twice per month).

The Evidence and Impact Officer will play a key role in improving their approach to monitoring and evaluation, strengthening their research and evidence base, and ensuring that their policy influencing and service development is underpinned by robust evidence. This role will be part of the Policy, Campaigns and Communications department, but will work closely with colleagues in the Services department and across the organisation to deliver impact. They are looking for someone who is motivated, analytical, is passionate about improving the lives of care-experienced young people, and has a good understanding of research methods and data analysis.

Interview details:

Interviews will have two parts:

A session with young people; A panel interview with the charity's staff. Interviews will be held virtually using a video calling app (Microsoft Teams or Zoom). If access to technology/WiFi is difficult for you, please contact them so they can assist in making suitable arrangements.

They also want to ensure fairness in all of their interviews so all successful shortlisted candidates will be sent the interview questions in advance.
