Position Title: Development Co-ordinator

Location: London Fields. They promote a hybrid, flexible way of working, staff can work remotely for part of the week if they wish and, in the office, or face to face for at least 2 days per week.
Status: Permanent
Salary: £29,197, rising to £30,080 in April, with generous benefits package including 30 days annual leave plus Bank holidays and 3 days of Christmas closure.
For 60 years this children's charity has been building a better childhood for all.
The Development Co-ordinator supports fundraising and development activities enabling the charity to secure new grants and contracts from sources including Government bodies, research institutions and charitable trusts. This lynchpin post is responsible for facilitating research and development, technical support and administration systems and procedures. Based within the Development Team and working across the whole of the charity, the postholder will provide first-class coordination and development of bids leading to increased growth, impact and organisational learning.
This role is the perfect opportunity for an ambitious and diligent person looking to grow their skills and knowledge within evidence-based fundraising and development work supporting systemic change across the children’s policy field. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with sector leading experts based within their teams (programmes, practice, policy, comms finance), enabling them to develop a broad range of experiences supporting their personal development and career progression. It is an exciting time at the charity with a new 5-Year strategy launching in 2024 during the organisations 60th anniversary year.
