Assistant Director - Social Care

Location: London Fields, E8. They promote a hybrid, flexible way of working, staff can work remotely for part of the week if they wish and, in the office, or face to face for at least 2 days per week.
Status: Permanent
Salary: £61,232 with generous benefits package including 30 days annual leave plus Bank holidays and 3 days of Christmas closure.
For over 60 years our client, a national children's charity has been building a better childhood for all.
This role will lead and develop the work of this charity and the Council for Disabled Children (CDC) in relation to social care. Contributing to improvement in frontline practice and outcomes for children and young people, with a particular focus on disabled children and those with SEN, young people in care and care leavers.
This is an exciting opportunity to oversee the delivery of their social care contracts with external agencies and to increase their capacity, fulfilling current contractual obligations including practice improvement programmes in relation to Foster Care, Supported Accommodation and SEND, as well as seeking new opportunities in relation to social care policy and practice.
