Contract: Fixed Term for 12 months, Full Time
Salary: £39,554 per annum
Benefits: 30 days holiday plus bank holidays (and an additional 3 days leave for Christmas org-wide shut down)

This charity are looking for a Social Care Programme Manager to help lead their exciting programmes of work across children’s social care.

The successful candidate will have expertise/experience in children’s social care. They should be highly motivated and an experienced project manager, confident at delivering training to professionals and facilitating group learning.

Excellent project management and communication skills are essential for this role as are strong IT and writing skills along with experience of delivering training events. You need to be passionate about what you do, have an interest in social care, enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and be comfortable working both independently, with team members and with others in our partner organisations.

As a Social Care Programme Manager you will support the operational delivery of current projects, including for disabled children and those with Special Educational Needs and their families, as well as a range of projects related to wider social care policy and practice. You will have the opportunity to convene, lead and provide support to networks hosted by the charity and the Council for Disabled Children (CDC) and work with colleagues and partners to influence social care policy and practice.
