Safeguarding children is a key priority for London local government and its partners. We are looking for a highly motivated person with excellent organisational and project management skills to support the London Safeguarding Children Partnership, hosted by London Councils.

The London Safeguarding Children Partnership plays an important strategic role in identifying and developing solutions to shared challenges and opportunities, to improve local safeguarding arrangements across London.

Working in London Councils’ Children’s Services team, you will work to the London Safeguarding Children Partnership Executive and deliver a range of policy projects to bolster safeguarding arrangements, as well as supporting key networks and ensuring good partnership working.

This is an outward facing role, building relationships with and influencing lots of different stakeholders and coming up with creative solutions to help strengthen safeguarding work across London. You’ll work with key safeguarding partners including London local authorities, NHS, Metropolitan Police Service, Mayor’s Office for Policing and Crime (MOPAC) and central government officials.
