Do you want to be part of a new keyworker initiative with the potential to transform families' lives and influence change within services and systems in Greater Manchester?
Barnardo's is looking to recruit highly skilled and experienced Children's Service Manager to lead the Greater Manchester Keyworker service for children and young people, up to 25 years old, with Learning Disabilities and/or Autism their families through the NHS England's Learning Disability & Autism Programme.
This role requires a highly motivated and skilled manager with excellent leadership qualities able to establish and develop a new service working within all 10 boroughs of Greater Manchester. You will create and support 5 teams to confidently deliver support within the family home, foster care placement or inpatient setting to avoid where possible the need for a tier 4 placement. You will work in partnership at all levels to achieve the best outcomes and respectfully address at a strategic level any barriers to successful outcomes for families.
- Significant experience in managing teams supporting children with Autism Spectrum Condition and Learning Disabilities and their families
- Contract management experience demonstrating impact and outcomes achieved
- Experience in building and maintaining effective relationships at a strategic level
- Experience in developing new work to a high standard through service planning, quality assurance and co-production
- Detailed knowledge of education, health and social care systems, legislation and frameworks in relation to children with Individual needs
