Hours: Full time
We are looking to recruit a second Resident Matron in our Year 9 mixed boarding house.
If you offer experience of working with children and young people as a matron, nurse, social care worker, or similar profession, this position offers an exciting opportunity to play a key role ensuring the care of pupils at Bradfield College.
This Matron will assist and contribute to the supervision and care of pupils in their first year at the College, including regular communication with parents.
Duties will include attending to pupils’ needs if they are ill, require pastoral support, or require further medical interventions during the night. This will include accompanying pupils to the onsite Medical Centre or other external appointments when requested, therefore a full and clean UK driving licence is necessary.
You will need to be practical, patient, sensitive, as well as an excellent communicator and a team player.
Accommodation will be provided and the position will commence as soon as possible.
Bradfield College can also offer you a variety of benefits, such as:
- Access to Lifeworks EAP programme
- Contributory Pension Scheme
- Subsidised membership of the College Sports Centre and Golf Club
- Cycle to work scheme
