Chair of the Management Committee

At PRISM Youth Project, we work with young people from across the district who require extra support in education and life. We’ve grown rapidly in recent years, and right now, we’re more innovative and creative in the ways we’re reaching out to people than ever before. We’re making great progress and working hard to make sure that everyone feels at home at PRISM, and we need talented people, people like you, to help us and play their part in making a real difference to young people facing a whole range of challenges in their lives.

About the Management Committee

PRISM’s Management Committee meets five times a year at appropriate times in the reporting and audit cycle and otherwise as required.

Further details of the Management Committee’s role, the qualities and experience required of its members can be made available.  The details of latest annual accounts are available on the charity commissioner’s website in regards to PRISM.

About you

We’re looking for someone with sufficient and relevant financial and management skills gained in a sizeable organisation (c£500,000-£1M revenue or asset base) in the Charity, Educational or professional services sector who can Chair and lead our Management Committee as we seek to consolidate on our recent success and build for the future.

Time commitment

The expected time commitment is approximately 6-7 days per year – this comprises 5 meetings a year and associated preparation with a full induction. The role is voluntary.
