Witherslack Group are looking for a Registered Manager to join one of our established homes and create a setting where each child can thrive and reach their full potential. This is a fantastic opportunity to hone your leadership skills, get stuck in and make a difference from day one!

The home accommodates up to 7 young people with social, emotional and mental health needs and is part of an integrated therapeutic provision with another home and a learning centre onsite. Based near Bradford, the home is ideally situated for the young people to make the most of community facilities and activities to cover a range of interests.

We offer outstanding opportunities, experiences and support. All our homes provide a high quality living experience, with every young person having their own en suite bedroom. Our qualified and experienced staff support our young people as they learn and grow, and we encourage our team to develop too. If you’re ambitious and resilient, we’ll give you the chance to build an exciting career in a fast-growing organisation, where you’re free to achieve your potential.

Managing day-to-day operations, you’ll take ownership of Ofsted statutory requirements, as well as playing an active part with the new referrals.

We’re ideally looking for someone with experience in managing an Ofsted-rated Good or Outstanding home. Your expertise should come with or you’ll be working towards a professional qualification: the Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (England) or equivalent. Enthusiastic, resilient and good with people, you’ll have the judgement to make key decisions and will be able to inspire, develop and grow exceptional teams and the leaders of tomorrow. A full UK driving license is a must for this role.

The level of care and education provided must be of the highest quality, that’s what drives us, here at Witherslack Group. With our high staff-to-child ratio and in-house clinical teams, our children’s homes have a reputation for excellence. Through our inspirational homes and ethos, we’ve achieved the highest possible outcomes. In short, we’re enhancing life opportunities.

  • Life Insurance based on two times your annual base salary
  • BUPA Family Healthcare
  • Comprehensive induction programme and exceptional ongoing training
  • We also offer extensive Group staff benefits, such as a Medicash Health Plan/Employee Assistance, and Cycle to Work Scheme.
