Childcare and Camps Service Coordinator
NCVS with regular travel to other locations across the County
£23,000 - £25,000 per annum (depending on experience)
Full time - 37.5 hours per week (average across a year) to include weekends and evenings as required
Do you have a background in breakfast/after school clubs, nurseries or day camps? Are you proficiently organised, with the ability to engage and inspire children and young people and their parents?
Our existing childcare sites provide a happy, healthy and safe environment for children in Nottinghamshire. We strive to develop children and young people, enabling them to become healthy responsible adults. We currently run before and after school clubs as well as providing childcare during the school holidays as well as nursery provision. Your knowledge and proven track record of working with 0 -11 year olds will be essential in our pursuit to provide outstanding childcare in local communities.
As well as an excellent knowledge of EYFS and safeguarding children protocols, your role will require you to be an effective communicator in order to present new ideas to staff, children and parents alike. You will be adept in team leadership and team building and will possess a flexible and adaptable nature coupled with a positive and creative approach. An understanding of KPIs, metrics and trends will be key to this role, as is a background managing budgets and monitoring income.
Ideally you will possess an Early Years or Play Leader qualification to at least level 3, or HND or undergraduate qualification in childcare/ early years/children’s services. You will also be willing to work towards other managerial level qualifications.
