Workshop Facilitators (London)
The Ben Kinsella Trust is one of the leading anti-knife crime charities in the UK, set up following the tragic murder of Ben Kinsella in 2008. The Trust exists to campaign against knife crime and to educate young people about its dangers, helping them to make positive choices to stay safe.
We are seeking Workshop Facilitators to facilitate our award winning knife crime prevention workshops.
Our workshops educate young people (school years 5-10) about the dangers of knife crime and how to make positive choices to stay safe.
We are looking for enthusiastic and committed individuals to deliver our workshops who can work flexibly, sometimes at short notice and are available during school hours.
Main Purpose of the Role
As Workshop Facilitator you will deliver our award-winning knife crime prevention workshops. Our workshops educate young people about the dangers of knife crime and help them to make positive choices to stay safe. You will ensure our workshops are impactful and memorable and that young people are supported to live their lives safely. You will work both independently and through co-delivery, directly with young people in a face-to-face role.
Salary and Contract: £45 per workshop, £80 for a double workshop | This is a freelance position
Location: You can choose to work in our Islington exhibition, our Barking and Dagenham exhibition or (preferably!) both.
