Are you a qualified and highly skilled project manager? Do you have demonstrable experience and expertise of working with families and children? Can you provide support to enable our team to deliver positive outcomes for children (0-11 yrs) and their families?

Family Centres are places where children under 11 years old and their families can receive seamless integrated services and information.  It is also where they can access help from a range of multi-disciplinary teams of professionals. 

The postholder will work across the East Quadrant (Broxbourne, East Herts and Welwyn Hatfield) providing leadership, support, co-ordination and guidance on all aspects of new projects and developments across the Family Support Service.  This will include projects within one or all of the following workstreams: universal, emerging needs or targeted provision; ensuring the highest quality standards, effective completion and measurable impact.  

The key elements of the post are to:

  • Identify and then lead on the co-ordination of responding to project opportunities
  • Maintain an up to date project plan and insight information of all projects, detailing progress and, timelines, including success and impact identifiers
  • To work alongside team members to plan, direct and support the mobilisation of projects from concept stage to delivery

The post holder will be based in East Herts but work across the East Quadrant (Broxbourne, East Herts and Welwyn Hatfield)

Travel:
You will need a full driving licence and suitably insured car during work hours, since you will be required to travel between sites.

An Enhanced Disclosure DBS check is required for this role.

We can offer some flexibility in working hours as long they 7.5 hours per day Monday - Friday. i.e 7:30 - 15.30. to include half an hour unpaid break.
