Barnardo's Children Services in Rotherham are looking to recruit an experienced full time Team Manager to work with our skilled and dedicated  practitioners in Rotherham on our Transformational Fund Project.

The Transformational Fund is a Home Office funded project intended to promote and disseminate best practice in the provision of support to help children and young people cope with and recover from sexual abuse, to improve the quality of support available and to build understanding of what works to support children and young people who have experienced sexual abuse.

This project will support that objective through co-designing and delivering support to Muslim children, young people and families living in Rotherham.

Please note that although this vacancy states fixed location a clean driving license and use of car is essential as the post will require driving in and around the borough of Rotherham and further a field as necessary. 

  • The post is advertised with funding until March 2022 although we are confident that there will be work beyond that date, so an extension is a possibility.
  • Secondments will be considered.

Please be advised that this post requires;

  • Extensive experience of safeguarding  
  • Experience of working with young people who have experienced CSE/CCE/CSA.
  • Experience of management within a social care or related setting.
