£90,000 to £95,000 per annum. This is a full time post. This post is for 7 years subject to an open competition.

The Children’s Commissioner for Wales is an independent champion of children’s rights.  The principal aim for the Children’s Commissioner is to safeguard and promote the rights and welfare of all children and young people in Wales; to make a difference to children and young people’s lives; and to make sure Wales is a country where children and young people are respected, valued, listened to and supported to lead safe and happy lives.

Prif nod y Comisiynydd Plant yw gwarchod a hyrwyddo hawliau a lles holl blant a phobl ifanc Cymru; gwneud gwahaniaeth i fywydau plant a phobl ifanc; a sicrhau bod Cymru’n wlad lle mae plant a phobl ifanc yn cael eu parchu, eu gwerthfawrogi, eu clywed a'u cefnogi i fyw bywyd diogel a hapus.
