Play, Adventure and Community Enrichment (PACE) Specialist Services Vacancies – 1:1 Keyworkers and Positive Behaviour Support Workers
We currently have vacancies within our two different specialist services and are looking for candidates who are suitable for either one or both positions.
1 to 1 Keyworkers
You will work in partnership with young people, schools and education services, parents, carers and other professionals to support young people who have been excluded from mainstream educational provision (or who need extra support to remain in this provision).
You will build positive relationships with young people, providing support advice and guidance to help them to address issues which affect their ability to engage within the school setting.
You will also have the possibility of additional work with other PACE projects.
Job Title: 1:1 Keyworker
Hourly Rate: £14.77 per hour
Reporting To: Specialist services senior Manager
Location: Camden - Sessions will be delivered in the local community or trips out to other London locations.
Hours: Guaranteed minimum of 3 hours a week term time only (regular weekly hours to be agreed and reviewed frequently). Flexibility in terms of how many additional sessions per week you are able to commit to on a regular basis. Sessions will take place during school hours.
Training: Candidates will be given a full induction and relevant training.
Annual Leave: 28 days per annum (including public holidays) pro rata.
Positive Behaviour Support Workers
Your primary responsibilities will be supporting children and young people with challenging behaviour in their home or the local community and providing fixed term positive behaviour support intervention for the families coping with the demands of caring for their disabled child/ young person.
This position is best suited to somebody who can commit to regular evening and weekend work.
You will also have the possibility of additional work with other PACE projects.
Job Title: Positive Behaviour Support Worker
Hourly Rate: £14.77 per hour
Reporting To: Specialist services senior Manager
Location: Camden - Sessions will be delivered in the local community or trips out to other London locations
Hours: Guaranteed minimum of 5 hours a week, 52 weeks per annum (regular weekly hours to be agreed and reviewed frequently). Flexibility in terms of how many additional sessions per week you are able to commit to on a regular basis. Weekday sessions will take place anytime between 3.15pm - 7pm. Weekend sessions will take place anytime between 9.30am – 5.30pm
Training: Candidates will be given a full induction and training in Positive Behaviour support.
Annual Leave: 28 days per annum (including public holidays) pro rata.
Both positions are open to having the possibility of additional work with other PACE projects.
