Contract: Permanent, 5 days per week

This is a dynamic charity with extensive experience and expertise in attendance, parental engagement and safeguarding for disadvantaged children and families, with proven outcomes and success in increasing attendance and reducing exclusions.

This is an exciting opportunity to develop their service in supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) across the organisation. The post holder will be the organisation's lead for SEN and will further develop expertise across the charity, schools and members to promote positive outcomes for children and their families.

The primary aim of this post is to ensure their practitioners deliver a high level of service to all families with children with a Special Educational Need (SEN). The post-holder will work closely with all practitioners and develop resources to ensure all SEN pupils are well supported. In addition the post-holder will line manage SEN specifically appointed staff along with other practitioners across the service. They will also work closely with their fundraising team and represent the charity at national and specific external meetings and conferences.

The successful candidate will have a confident ability to form professional partnerships with schools and proven experience of sharing good practice and setting high standards. They will also have experience of managing and supporting staff and working effectively to build family resilience, particularly with those with children with SEN.
