About the role

Working as a member of the Youth Futures Team the post holder will be responsible for sourcing suitable Employers for Youth Futures Fund, matching unemployed young people with those suitable employers with the aim of moving individuals into sustainable employment.

The Youth Employment Engagement Officer will work closely with local, regional and national employers, building relationships in order to gain a better understanding of their recruitment needs and requirements. Supporting employers in understanding how important it is to give a young person work experience, participants’ needs and help create job roles to match.

This role is subject to an Enhanced Disclosure endorsed by the Disclosure and Barring Service.

A bit about you

The charity is seeking an enthusiastic individual with proven experience of working with employers and referral agencies. You must have the ability to understand customer needs and work to exceed them. Having a sound understanding of the Employability Agenda both nationally, regionally and locally is essential as well as having knowledge of the framework of training and development delivery.
