Our Family Centres are places where children under 11 years old and their families can receive seamless integrated services and information. We also provide access to help from a range of multi-disciplinary teams of professionals.

About the role:

You will support all aspects of the early years provision within the Family Centres' core purpose: working to close the gap between the most disadvantaged children and other children to enjoy and achieve better outcomes through quality provision.  This will involve working closely with the team, providing expertise, support and challenge to ensure exceptional provision.

You will be working strategically and operationally, with a particular focus on supporting children’s and adults' learning and development, in relation to maximising opportunities for improved achievement, raising aspirations, safeguarding, increasing healthy lifestyles, creating learning and development opportunities of the highest quality, specifically including home learning opportunities.

You will lead on developing services to engage parents in their child’s learning and development from pre-birth and beyond, using a wide range of platforms. These include digital and face to face provision, across the whole services offer from universal, emerging needs and targeted provision.

You will work across the East Quadrant (Broxbourne, East Herts and Welwyn Hatfield) providing support on all aspects of the Family Support Services early years provision from universal, emerging needs and some targeted provision, ensuring the highest quality standards. 

Travel:

You will need a full driving licence and suitably insured car during work hours, since you will be required to travel between sites.  

Interviews are currently expected to be held on 13th May.

An Enhanced Disclosure DBS check is required for this role.
