Children and Young Peoples Residential Support Worker for CYP aged 13-18 years.
Silkteen is a new Therapeutic Residential four-week programme in Jersey for young people aged 13-18 years delivered by Silkworth Charity Group.
The charity is looking to recruit two experienced support workers with a level 3 children and young peoples residential qualification for an immediate start to support the implementation and development of the service.
The programme aims to provided a nurturing caring environment and safe space to explore emotions and past experiences; increase awareness of our physical and emotional needs; consider positive choices, exploration and development of safe coping strategies, increase resilience and aspirations for young people.
The unit is based in a beautiful beachfront location and whilst the roles are initially fixed term for three and six months, there is an option to become a permanent member of the team and a resident of Jersey.
The work pattern is 38 hours per week covering a varied pattern of daytime and/or sleeping in/waking cover.
