Assistant Operations Manager – Childcare Services
Children and Young People Department
£35,000 - £39,000 per annum dependent on experience
37.5 hours per week
An incredible new opportunity has been created for you to join Nottinghamshire YMCA’s Childcare Department. As an experienced childcare professional, you will deliver the day to day operations of the Breakfast / After-School Club as well as leading our ambitious growth programme to acquire new Childcare and Nursery sites.
Providing strategic leadership to your team, you will ensure compliance with Ofsted regulations and work with our Funding Team to seek out new opportunities and funding streams. An excellent communicator you will manage stakeholder relationships including Head Teachers, Ofsted, parents, and carers.
You will draw on your qualifications, skills, and experience to ensure children engage in safe and enjoyable sports, craft, and STEAM activities. Working with the Executive Management Team and Operations Manager, you will be pivotal in creating a nursery provision at our new YMCA Newark and Sherwood Activity Village.
An expert in your field, you will act as Safeguarding Officer for the department and will co deliver training across the Association.
With proven experience working with 0 – 11 year olds, you will be a competent people manager committed to quality service provision, with experience of working within Ofsted/EYFS frameworks and inspection requirements.
