Hours:  37 hours per week

Salary: £29,724 - £32,456 (JNC Professional Grade 20-23)

We are looking to recruit the right person for a significant leadership position in our expanding high-quality professional youth focused charity. This exciting new role for the service will drive forward our vision for inspirational youth work provision. This role plays a pivotal role in enabling YCSW to develop and expand its offer of open access youth work and youth voice opportunities across our area.

The Youth Work Manager will continuously raise the impact, profile and reach of Youth Work, ensuring the highest quality of youth work practice.

The Youth Work Manager will manage all YCSW’s open-access youth work programmes in and around Bath & NE Somerset. They will take a leading role in promoting and developing open access youth work provision, including YCSW own delivery and providing advice and guidance to other organisations delivering or commissioning youth work in the area.

They will work with our youth work team to create a vibrant and engaging youth work curriculum that helps young people achieve positive outcomes that enhance their personal and social development.

They will take a lead in supporting young people to have a voice in decisions that affect their lives and their communities, creating opportunities for young people’s voice to be heard within YCSW and in our area of benefit.
