Programme Coordinator (UCLH)

Employer
Redthread Youth Ltd
Location
NW1 2BU, London
Salary
£22,000 - £24,000
Closing date
25 Nov 2019

Job Details

Redthread works with vulnerable young people in crisis. Whether they have been the victim of a stabbing, are seeking support for anxiety, have suffered a sexual assault, or want to find a new home beyond the reach of a gang, we support them to overcome the challenges they face through our dynamic youth work programmes.

This role is part of our new Youth Violence Intervention Programme (YVIP) at University College London Hospital (UCLH) which we are launching in January 2020. This is an exciting opportunity to develop a distinctive approach in UCLH where we will see fewer cases of serious youth violence than in the MTCs and meet more young people before they experience critical injury.

As a Programme Coordinator, you will provide administrative support to the UCLH YVIP team, being responsible for data collection and report writing, and a key point of contact for the programme. To succeed in this role you will be an enthusiastic individual who is highly organised, enjoys collecting and reporting on data, and has the ability to form effective working relationships with a wide range of people.

"I've seen first-hand how our hospitals provide a unique moment to engage with young people. Redthread have helped thousands of Londoners - and I'm proud to support their work." Sadiq Khan, Mayor of London, June 2019

For full details on the role please see the application pack on our website via the button below. We would love to receive a diverse range of applications, and we particularly welcome applications from BAME communities.
