Lead Youth Worker

We are looking for an experienced Youth Worker to deliver a needs-based programme of fun, challenging, exciting, educational and engaging festival, street and community-based Youth Work Sessions for young people aged 8 – 25 years who live in the Sevenoaks District.

West Kent has been commissioned by Kent County Council to deliver Youth Services across the Sevenoaks District and in order to deliver this project, we are looking for a dynamic and experienced Youth Worker who will be delivering a programme of festival, street and community based Youth Work Sessions for young people aged 8 – 25 years.

You will be:

• Experienced in working with young people as well as in delivering youth projects, events and programmes. With a good understanding of record keeping, you will be confident in delivering to Key Performance Indicators and in evaluating the quality of youth interventions.
• A confident leader with the ability to liaise with stakeholders and partners, as well as possessing a passion for youth work and advocating for young people in the community. You will be a great role model, proactive in your approach while demonstrating professionalism at all times.
