Family Support Workers x 2
Full-time posts to be based in schools across Blackpool
Salary starting from £22,438 pa

The post-holders will work closely with the Local Authority and Schools to deliver targeted casework and other activities to promote educational outcomes for disadvantaged children, young people and their families. The roles main focus will be on improving school attendance and engagement in learning. This is to be achieved by building a bridge between school and home, including regular home visits and other forms of outreach work. The successful candidates will work with the whole family to tackle issues which are causing poor school attendance and exclusions.

This is an exciting opportunity to join our client's newest team in Blackpool. Successful candidates will have good experience of working effectively with social and emotional factors affecting a child’s capacity to learn, strong abilities in engaging challenging children and their families, and a confident ability to form professional partnerships with children and their families.
