Salary: £30,641 - £32,768pa

Islington, London

37.5hrs per week (Mon – Fri 9am-5pm)

We are looking for a highly motivated individual, to provide strong and effective leadership of our Islington Young People’s Floating Support Service.  The service is designed to support young people aged 16-25 who have housing related support needs.

SHP (Single Homeless Project) is one of London’s leading homelessness prevention charities and a dynamic and growing organisation changing 8,000 lives every year across London - from supporting people in crisis, to helping them take the final steps towards independence and employment.

As the team manager you will ensure that all aspects of the service are delivered to the highest standards and are fully compliant with both our organisational values and contractual requirements.  This includes ensuring that the needs and aspirations of the young people, are at the centre of the support planning process and that all aspects of the service reflect good practice.

To be successful, you will have the ability to manage, motivate and support a team of staff combined with experience of risk and needs assessment, planned support, goal setting and advocacy with vulnerable people.   You will also have an understanding of the range of issues involved in the delivery of quality services to young people with complex needs.

Strong networking skills and proven ability to build positive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders is also required, along with good numeracy, literacy and I.T skills.
