Do you have experience of taking minutes at fast paced meetings, working with multi-agency organisations, internal staff and/or members of the public, and excellent written and verbal communication skills? If yes, we want to hear from you.

Slough Children’s Services Trust has an exciting opportunity where you’ll provide administrative support to the Safeguarding and Quality Assurance Unit in line with statutory obligations and local guidelines and procedures.

You’ll be responsible for coordinating Children Looked After Review Meetings and Child Protection Conferences, including taking specialist minutes at these multi-agency (usually children’s social care, police, health and education) complex meetings. You'll help establish and maintain good client/professional relationships both within the Trust and our professional partners by ensuring timely communication and critical updates.

If you’re looking for a new challenge and want to be part of an exciting journey to turn children’s services around in Slough then come and join us. In return, we can offer you:

  • Training and development opportunities
  • Agile working supported by technology
  • Flexible working policies
  • Friendly working environment and great colleagues.

Slough is one of the most diverse places in the country outside of London and a great place to live or work. In fact it's the best place to live or work according to a survey by Glassdoor. Pleasant environments, above average salaries and a lower cost of living, mean an increased quality of life for employees. We're also one of the most accessible places to be, nestled on the corner of the M25, M4 and M40, and less than 20 minutes by train to Central London.

Slough Children's Services Trust works within the statutory guidance, Working Together to Safeguard Children 2018. Further information on how we adhere to this can be found on our website and in each candidate information pack.
