We’re Witherslack Group and we’re growing, with a huge focus on the South and have plans to open a number of new homes. We currently have 18 schools and 24 children’s homes UK wide, our most Southern Locations are Warwickshire, Leicestershire and Oxfordshire. We are looking for Registered Managers in Reading, Oxford, Rugby and Trowbridge.

As a Registered Manager for one of our children’s homes, you’ll will be responsible the operation of the home making sure your team and young people feel happy, safe and motivated. You will be responsible for driving child-centred practice within the home, ensuring that outcomes for young people are positive. You’ll take ownership of the home including Ofsted regulatory requirements, as well as playing a leading role in staff recruitment and the management of referrals.

Here at Witherslack Group we pride ourselves on providing an excellent level of care, because of this we require you to have experience at a senior level in managing or supporting an Ofsted rated Good or Outstanding children’s home. Your expertise should come with or working towards a professional qualification: the Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare or equivalent. Enthusiastic, resilient and good with people, you’ll have the judgement to make key decisions and will be able to inspire, develop and grow exceptional teams and the leaders of tomorrow. A full UK driving license is a must for this role.

Reward:
Our salary and benefits package is among the best in our sector. It includes our competitive base salary (£40,848 - £47,054), a Long-Term Incentive Plan with a bonus of up to 20% of your salary each year, £1,000 annual attendance bonus, up to 5% contributory pension, 35 days’ holiday (including bank holidays), BUPA Healthcare, comprehensive induction programme and exceptional ongoing training. We also offer extensive Group staff benefits, such as a Medicash Health Plan/Employee Assistance, and Cycle to Work Scheme. Witherslack conducts DBS Enhanced checks and covers the costs for all new employees.
