Job Details
Solace Women’s Aid is an innovative, exciting, grassroots charity working across London. Our purpose is to bring to an end the harm done through domestic and sexual violence to all survivors, and in particular women and children. Our work is holistic and empowering, working alongside survivors to achieve independent lives free from abuse.
You will be joining a team of committed and inspiring individuals whose dedication has saved the lives of thousands of women, men and children in the capital. We are looking for friendly and diligent individuals to join our services and help us make a difference.
About the Service
Our Children and Young People’s Service comprises several projects including school and hospital-based programmes. The team deliver a range of services, including prevention work, for families and young people living in the community. This service also includes children’s creative therapy and dedicated youth advocates, as well as projects led by and for young people.
About the Role
The aim of this role is to bring the various elements of our CYP services together under one directorate. As Senior Manager, you will manage and develop our service provision for young people, ensuring high-quality operational management and strategic planning alongside an intersectional feminist approach. You will contribute to the development and delivery of our CYP services in addition to effective partnership arrangements, providing clear leadership and championing the needs of children and young people.
About You
We are seeking to recruit a dynamic, motivated individual with extensive experience in the development, delivery and management of services for children and young people. You will be able to ensure day-to-day service delivery alongside developing ideas for wider change, with strong problem-solving and organisational skills. You will demonstrate collaborative leadership and the ability to work under pressure, with the ability to confidently manage challenging situations.
In return, we offer great employee benefits including three per cent employer pension contribution, generous holiday entitlement and a focus on learning and development.
Company
We’re Solace. For more than 40 years we’ve supported women and children in London to build safe and strong lives. Futures free from male abuse and violence.
We know that women across London are experiencing domestic and sexual violence right now. Whatever form violence comes in, from rape and trafficking to relationships based on psychological or financial control, we work to end it. But we know escaping violence can be the hardest thing to ever do. That’s why it's so important we’re here.
We find creative and innovative ways to support thousands of women and children each year. Stand with us to end violence and abuse now.
