We are currently recruiting Sessional Workers to work in our children’s and youth teams.  We are looking for motivated individuals wanting to start a career in youth or children’s work, or experienced workers who want greater flexibility.  Successful candidates will support our staff team and large team of volunteers to deliver a programme of activities that enable the personal and social development of children and young people within Enfield Lock and the wider Enfield Borough.  Find out more about our work at www.enact.community

Key responsibilities will be:

  • To support staff and volunteers to run various children’s and youth project sessions in a universal, open-access setting.
  • To build appropriate professional relationships with children and young people to support their personal and social development.
  • To contribute to our planning, delivery and evaluation process.

The successful post holder must have:

  • Previous experience of children’s or youth work
  • A flexible approach to changes in circumstance and able to work unsocial hours
  • Knowledge of safeguarding practices and health and safety
  • Good communication and organisational skills

You will be supported and supervised by experienced enact staff.  You will have the opportunity for professional development and the opportunity to join the Oasis Enfield Lock and Hadley Hub Sessional Workers Pool with access to additional paid working hours.

To apply for either our children’s or youth teams, please send us your most recent CV and a completed Part-B application form to recruitment@oasisuk.org.  Closing date for the current round is Monday 20th May 2019.  Interviews will be on Tuesday 28th May.
