Young People’s Advice & Support Officer

Become is a small charity with a big reputation and impact. We’ve been leading the way for 26 years in getting the voices of children in care and care leavers heard and in recent years we’ve developed our direct work with children and young people. 

We’re looking for an experienced frontline worker with a passion for making a real difference in the lives of children and young people. You’ll have excellent knowledge of the rights and entitlements of children and young people in and from care, and experience of providing direct support, advice and guidance.  You’ll work to put young people at the heart of your practice, taking a service-user lead, holistic approach in supporting children in care and young care leavers.

As part of a small but growing team, you’ll be responsible for promoting, organising and delivering Become’s Care Advice Service, accessed by children and young people over the phone, by text, through 1:1 sessions and groupwork.  We are looking for a real team player with the enthusiasm and drive to work towards the best outcomes for children and young people.
