Castlehaven Community Association is a highly respected and award-winning local charity. In its 33 year history it has provided a vast array of services and activities for the local community to access, benefit from and enjoy.
Castlehaven is currently looking for a dynamic, proactive and highly organised person to develop, coordinate and manage a brand-new programme of healthy living activities, opportunities and events for families and young people.
This new and exciting project aims to identify, engage and empower local families and young people to improve their health & wellbeing. The new Families Programme Manager post will implement a weekly programme of sports, recreation and health initiatives for our target groups – local families and young people (11-19yrs) that have poor physical & mental health or weight issues, and families and young people from BAME and/or LGBTQI+ communities.
The programme manager will collaborate with external organisations, specialists and professional trainers/tutors to provide a varied programme of healthy living courses, sessions/classes and events for our target groups. They will work in partnership with stakeholders, local organisations and schools to support and connect isolated families in Camden to healthy living activities and services. This will include supporting & maintaining quality assurance systems and ensuring the delivery of this new programme.
