As part of the Better Start Bradford partnership, Bradford Trident is looking to appoint a Programme Director.

In this key influential role, you will be responsible for leading one of the most exciting partnership programmes in early childhood development in England. Better Start Bradford is a £49m ten-year programme funded by The National Lottery Community Fund until 2025 with a focus on evidence-based prevention in pregnancy and the first three years of life in order to improve outcomes for the children of Bradford. As our Programme Director, you will be responsible for bringing about system and practice change in how communities and local agencies work together to embrace best practice and commission, deliver and improve support for families in pregnancy and with children under the age of four.

We are looking to appoint a knowledgeable and experienced strategic leader with a proven track record of delivering cross sector, community focused transformation programmes and services. With a commitment to improving outcomes for children and the important role that communities play in this, you will be a dynamic, collaborative and confident leader with the focus and drive to build a sustainable legacy for babies, children and families.  

This is a full-time post, funded until 2025.  Secondment opportunities will be considered.
