Youth Worker - Outreach and Participation (The Well Centre)
We are looking for an enthusiastic and energetic youth worker who is passionate about helping young people, can take initiative and has the capacity to form effective working relationships with a wide range of partners and agencies. Our work in The Well Centre has been covered by Children in Need, which gives a taster of what we do (https://vimeo.com/270345948).
It’s an exciting time to join Redthread. We have an inspirational staff team, programmes which transform the lives of vulnerable young people, an excellent reputation and profile, and well-developed organisational structures and processes.
The main purposes of this role include:
- Providing the youth work element for our Well Centre project.
- Leading on Redthread’s education programmes and services including school drop-ins, lesson development and delivery.
- Leading on youth participation at The Well Centre, and contributing to Redthread’s youth participation strategy across the organization.
