Up to £57528 per annum (inclusive of market premia)

Plus £2000 per annum retention payment (payable annually after 2 years’ service in Medway), the option of a Lease Car or Essential User allowance and up to £6000 towards relocation.

An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Child Protection Conferencing Team Manager to work in our Safeguarding and Quality Assurance Service. You will be responsible for planning, leading and developing social workers in their designated team and assisting the Head of Service in the development across the service.

You will have significant experience and understanding of safeguarding issues and be responsible for ensuring the Child Protection conferences are undertaken in accordance with statutory guidance.

As a registered social worker with HCPC you will have a minimum of five years post qualifying experience of working with children, young people and their families, together with substantial post qualifying experience of managing social workers. You will be required to manage a team of Child Protection Conference Chairs and report directly to our Head of Service for Safeguarding and Quality Assurance.

You will also have access to a range of training available through our award winning Children and Adults Academy.
