£37,395 per annum plus £3,214 per annum geographical weighting
35 hours per week
Stratford, London with regular travel across England and Wales
This is an exciting opportunity to lead the development of Mind’s approach to supporting young people to influence and participate in our work across England and Wales. Mind is seeking to recruit a Young People Influence & Participation Manager to work alongside our Lived Experience and Engagement team and to lead our Young People's Influence and Participation team, to ensure that young people lead on and are involved in all elements of our work.
We’re committed to ensuring our children and young people team is reflective of the young people we’re working with, we’re keen to hear from people from diverse backgrounds. We are also keen to receive applications from men and people from BAME communities and people who identify as LGBTQi+.
The ideal candidate will be passionate about youth voice and you will bring an experience of working in a national organisation having shaped and overseen youth participation roles across service delivery, campaigning and media work. You will have an excellent understanding of the policy and practice issues impacting on young people's mental health. You will have a strong background in building effective relationships and managing complex partnerships.
