Wessex Synod

Permanent Contract: 18 hours per week

Salary: £34-35k (pro rata £17-17.5k)

We have an opportunity for a highly motivated and dedicated professional who possesses a strong conviction regarding the need to safeguard the vulnerable. In this role you will develop and implement operational procedures and provide advice in matters relating to safeguarding for the Synod and its local churches.

Wessex Synod covers a large part of central Southern England (map of area). The post holder will be expected to live within the Synod area, to work from home and to be willing to travel throughout the area.

With experience of advising on a range of safeguarding issues, you will have knowledge in safeguarding case management, preferably in the voluntary sector.
