Keswick Care Children's homes are Ofsted rated Good/ Outstanding so we are looking for experienced Residential Childcare Workers to join our growing team.
Keswick Care provides 24 hour residential care for vulnerable young people from as young as 9 years old to 18 years, in a range of solo and multi- occupancy residential homes in South and West Yorkshire.

The fantastic work that is carried out with the young people in our care has achieved the company, homes and staff teams Ofsted Ratings of "Outstanding care Providers" throughout the whole company.
Our Children's Homes provide a warm and homely environment for Looked After Children and young people to be supported by competent and qualified staff, where they can receive a well planned and meaningful care experience. We aim to help these young people achieve their full potential emotionally, physically and socially. The underpinning ethos of our homes is one of positive reinforcement and nurturing.
About the person
You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and will engage effectively with young people, providing individual support and advice through key working and life coaching. You will be creatively implementing care plans, risk assessments, weekly reports and other key work responsibilities. It will help to have a fantastic sense of humour, outgoing, energetic and fun loving.
Previous experience of working with young people with behavioural, challenging, emotional and social difficulties.
As carers you will be working in a homely environment, therefore there is an expectation that you will also be required to cook, prepare nutritious meals and support the young people completing domestic duties including laundry and cleaning.
A full driving license is compulsory for this position as you will be required to transport children and young people to destinations such as school, family contact and other social activities.
You must be aged 21+ to satisfy Ofsted Requirements.
