Do you have experience of working with social workers and managers in fostering services, foster carers and other professionals in health, education and support services? Are you innovative and creative? Do you have an in-depth knowledge and understanding of foster care in England today? Do you have the skills needed to deliver high quality practice support across the fostering sector?
We are looking for an individual to join our well established Practice Support team and to help us make a difference to the lives of children in foster care by supporting our fostering service members in England. You will be an excellent communicator with ability to use a range of media, have a proven track record in producing high quality written reports and have a commitment to working to the highest standards. You will represent The Fostering Network to a range of audiences – locally, regionally and nationally.
It is essential that the post holder is able to demonstrate an excellent working knowledge of fostering, to facilitate and lead learning workshops/events for registered managers and must be prepared to travel extensively across England. This is a specialist post which has been created to provide specialist practice support to a leading independent fostering provider service operating across England.

Our ideal candidate will have an understanding of how fostering services operate, the challenges for fostering services managers and staff and the experience of foster carers.
