The Anna Freud National Centre for Children and Families supports distressed children and their families through innovative therapeutic practice and research, training and promoting awareness of mental health issues.

The Centre has an extensive programme of work with schools across the country around addressing the mental health needs of pupils and staff. In London there is also a service which provides direct work with pupils and their families to approximately 15-20 schools. This post will lead the clinical team (five staff) who work directly in schools in the North London area and will also develop and deliver training to school staff as part of national programmes. The clinical team has particular expertise in delivering multi-family work in schools and many of the schools greatly value this approach.

We are seeking an experienced clinician with experience of working with children and their families in school settings in order to:

  • Lead the Anna Freud Centre Schools Outreach Team and provide supervision to members of the team;
