Team Manager - TalkAdoption Service
Location: Merseyside, with national travel responsibilities
Salary: £33,069 - £36,513 (After Adoption Pay Point 49 to 54)
Hours: 21 hours per week
Contract: Fixed term until March 2019

This is a very exciting role in a quickly expanding part of our business. You will work with the National Manager of our TalkAdoption services to develop, co-ordinate and deliver our very successful therapeutic camps, short breaks and programmes for adopted children and young people. You will also be responsible for supporting staff in organising the work of the various teams and act as deputy to our National Manager.

The successful candidate will be CQSW, Dip SW qualified or equivalent and registered with the relevant professional body. You will also have experience of working with children and families, teams and supervising staff or students.

  • Therapeutic Adoption Support Services, including SafeBase, our therapeutic parenting programme developed to equip parents with the skills and techniques to parent children who have been adopted from care.
  • Birth Ties, which provides advice, support and counselling to birth family members.
  • ReUnite, a service to help people reconnect with family members separated by adoption.
