Location: Based in Cambridge, Peterborough or Ipswich

Salary: £43,161 per annum

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Accommodation Director for YMCA Trinity Group to direct and develop the YMCA’s accommodation operations & support services, building strategic relationships with external agencies and local authorities across Cambridgeshire, Suffolk & neighbouring areas. Ensuring strategically relevant, and quality accommodation provision & services.

You should have the following qualities:

  • Excellent knowledge of the causes of homelessness and how that impacts on our clients
  • Good knowledge of Supported Housing funding issues & the related Support agenda
  • Minimum of 5 years recent experience in an accommodation setting
  • Practical Experience of tenders, contract submissions or bids
  • Proven team working ability
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to use logical processes for problem solving and decision making
  • Good interpersonal skills, sufficient to communicate with a wide range of staff and external contacts
  • Able to travel independently between YMCA sites
  • In sympathy with the Christian Aims and Purposes of the YMCA
  • High level of honest, integrity and discretion
  • Educated to degree level, or with extensive practical experience / knowledge

Hours: YMCA Trinity Group believes that this is a full time role, but would be open to discussions on how this might be delivered on an alternative basis.  You may be required to work regularly out of normal working hours i.e. before 9.00am and after 6.00pm and at weekends.
