Working closely with the Chief Executive you will manage and coordinate this charity’s overall work to influence policy and legislation for children, young people and their families.

The charity has a strong reputation for producing high quality, evidence-based policy recommendations. You will build on this track record effectively supporting the research and policy teams working in collaboration with other departments across the organisation and external partners. Ensuring the integration of research with policy and practice and the successful dissemination of evidence and information to inform policy development will be an important part of the role.

This is an exciting opportunity for a candidate with extensive experience in policy and public affairs at a senior level and of successful campaigning and lobbying.  You will have high level networking, negotiation and influencing skills and up to date knowledge of the current policy and practice issues which affect children and young people. Solid project management skills are also essential.
