Our client is looking for a creative, motivated and dedicated youth worker to join their team at a key point in their project’s development.

Youth Project Co-Ordinator
Salary:
Full Time Equivalent Salary £23,868 – (pro rata 21 hours per week)
Contract: Fixed Term until March 2021
Location: Wandsworth
Hours: 21hrs - A minimum of 17 hours during office hours, and up to 4 hours a week in the evening youth clubs (term time, day and times to be agreed). Occasional weekends working on the youth residentials we run each year.

It is an exciting time to join this charity’s youth project. Having recently secured funding for the next three years, they are in a position to develop and build on their offer for young people with learning disabilities in Wandsworth.  They currently run three weekly youth clubs, one bi-weekly youth club, ½ term, Easter and Summer day trips, residentials and one-to-one buddy work.

This is a great opportunity for someone to help shape their youth offer, programing a wide range of activities that will support the charity's members in accessing diverse opportunities working towards their goals as they transition into adulthood.  Activities that their members have taken part in over the last year have included climbing crags up in the Peak District, making podcasts, a ten week boxercise programme, dance workshops, early morning yoga, VR coding, Karaoke, and daytrips in and around London including farms, fun fairs and Flip Out.

The charity also offers a broad range of adult’s services delivered in their Social Opportunities programme, our Community Connections project, and through their Access to Work team.  You will form a key part of the diverse and committed team working to provide person-centred support for people with learning disability in Wandsworth.

Closing date for completed applications: Friday, 4th May 2018 at 5pm
Interviews will be held in the week commencing 14th May 2018
