Team Leader job for a Qualified Social Worker based in Gatwick, West Sussex within a Welfare service for vulnerable families. Paying up to £31k.
Your new company
Working within a purpose built service near Gatwick, you will be working for an organisation that has 25 years of experience operating and managing Care and Justice services within the U.K. You will be working within their Pre-Departure Accommodation services that provides welfare accommodation and support for families waiting to be repatriated. The service has recently undergone extensive renovation and provides intensive support at a critical point in the lives of the service users.
Your new role
As Team Leader, you will lead a team of project workers in the Pre-Departure Accommodation services, maximising their performance and ensuring the provision of a high quality standard of care and support. You will ensure that all staff members adhere to company values and best practice standards at all times. You will ensure the safeguarding of all service users and support child protection procedures. You will also be part of the on-call roster for Social Work support.
What you’ll need to succeed
You will be a Qualified Social Worker with a valid HCPC registration and will have experience working within Children and Family services. You will have some experience of leading a team and will be able to effectively monitor and maximise the performance of those working within your team. You will have a resilient and caring nature, while maintaining a commitment to professional boundaries. The service is in operation 24/7, so you will be able to work flexible hours to meet the needs of the service.
