Children's Services Manager – Separated Parents Information Programme (SPIP)

This post offers an exciting opportunity for a dynamic organised individual to join our team as the Children's Services Manager supporting the existing small  team with the efficient coordination of the SPIP training courses across the business and providing trainer support and Standardisation for continued quality practice.  Your courteous telephone manner, proficient IT skills, project management approach, general office efficiency will be contributing to making a positive difference to the lives of the children, young people and parents we work with.

Other duties will include:

  • Scheduling and coordinating the  SPIP training programme across 7 areas in England
  • Liaising with management and key stakeholders including CAFCASS
  • Ensuring each SPIP training course is run efficiently and effectively
  • Budget management and income generation
  • Building key relationships across the training function and the wider operations team
  • Coordinating multiple site bookings and managing the availability via the systems and diaries
  • Some direct delivery of the training programme
  • Line management of facilitators and administration support

We are committed to safeguarding the welfare of children and young people we serve. This post is subject to necessary safeguarding checks including an enhanced DBS Disclosure. This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act requirements and subject to vetting procedures, including completion of a relevant Self Declaration Disclosure form and consent to a relevant level of the DBS check.

This post is primarily based in Rushden, East Northamptonshire but will require regular travel to the programme areas.
