£18,070 - £20,138 plus 1/3 per annum
36.75 hours per week (including weekends), all year round

Your role will involve remaining awake in order to be responsible for the supervision and care of our young people at night, particularly ensuring that night time routines follow pre-agreed strategies and procedures. When not undertaking these duties, the postholder will be required to undertake various ‘housekeeping’ activities at the request of the Line Manager.
You must have the ability to demonstrate the needs of children and young people with Learning Difficulties, Autism and Challenging Behaviour and demonstrate a calm, responsible and mature outlook on life together with the ability to work alone and deal with difficult situations.
Two years experience of working with children and young people with Additional Educational Needs and Challenging Behaviour and the member of staff will be required to commit to achieving NVQ level 3 within 18 months of beginning employment at the school.
Eighteen months as above, plus an appropriate qualification gained in further education, e.g. NVQ Level 3, NNEB or BTEC National Certificate.
