Children’s Social Care has made great strides in improving outcomes for children and young people. If you have a Social Work Qualification (Degree in Social Work, Dip.SW, CQSW, CSS or equivalent), GSCC registration, and have previously worked with children in a similar setting, we want to hear from you!

We are looking for dedicated individuals who have at least 2 years post qualifying skills and experience, You will have knowledge and skills in carrying out assessments and care planning in accordance with government and local guidance for children in need, looked after children, child protection and children leaving care. You will be able to initiate appropriate statutory action to protect clients at risk, and manage a caseload to ensure clients receive care to meet their assessed needs within prescribed timescales. You would have knowledge and skills to manage and participate in the service duty system as and when required.
