About Us
White Lodge Centre supports disabled children, young people and adults, their families and carers in Surrey and throughout the surrounding areas. We specialise in care for those with a diverse range of disabilities, including cerebral palsy and other similar conditions. We’re recognised as a centre of excellence where all the services we offer consistently attain the highest possible standards.
The nursery operates daily from 9.30am to 3.30pm and follows the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum, which is differentiated to meet the needs of individual children’s needs and incorporate their therapy. A sensory curriculum is run simultaneously to ensure every child’s needs are met. We have also been evaluated as Outstanding by Ofsted.
The Role
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Nursery Co-ordinator to join our Ofsted rated ‘Outstanding’ nursery.
Your role as Nursery Co-ordinator is both office based and hands on to ensure the smooth running of the nursery on a daily basis and will involve:
- Leading the staff team to continually deliver high quality practice within the nursery
- Promoting positive relationships with parents, children and colleagues
- Ensuring health, safety and wellbeing of the children at all time
- Office based duties include finances, budget control, parent enquiries and promotion of the nursery
- Ensure appropriate planning and assessment is accurately maintained by all staff
Key Skills / Essential Qualities
- SEND experience essential
- Relevant experience working with children and families in a nursery
- Early Years Foundation Degree or equivalent
- Excellent knowledge of EYFS framework and Ofsted requirements
- Confident & able to lead by example
- Excellent communication and organisation skills
- Computer literate with good administration skills
- Passion & Creativity
