Youth Support & Engagement Officer  

Reporting to: Coach and Training Manager 

Location: London (with some national travel) 

Permanent 

Salary: £26,000 - £29,000 

Become is a small charity with a big reputation and impact. We’ve been leading the way for 26 years in getting the voices of children in care and care leavers heard and in recent years we’ve developed our direct work with children and young people.

We’re looking for an experienced frontline worker with a passion for making a real difference in the lives of children and young people. With sound knowledge of the issues affecting young people in and from care, and experience in 1:1 youth engagement and group work, you’ll put young people at the heart of your practice, taking a service-user lead, holistic approach in supporting children in care and young care leavers. 

As part of a small but growing team, you’ll be responsible for planning, organising and delivering a creative but structured programme of support for children in care and young care leavers.  We are looking for a real team player with the enthusiasm and drive to work towards the best outcomes for children and young people.
